About NextLatitude

Helping Americans build their next chapter abroad

Moving abroad is one of the biggest decisions most people will ever make. It can also be one of the most overwhelming.

Most people spend months jumping between government websites, blogs, Reddit threads, YouTube videos, Facebook groups, and spreadsheets trying to answer simple questions:

NextLatitude was created to make that process simpler.

Instead of scattered information, we bring relocation planning into one intelligent platform that helps Americans explore, compare, and prepare for life abroad.

Whether you're dreaming about moving overseas, comparing destinations, or actively preparing to relocate, NextLatitude is designed to help you make informed decisions with confidence.

What we do

Moving abroad should feel like an adventure, not an overwhelming research project.

The idea for NextLatitude came from my own experience planning an international move for my family of four.

What started as an exciting possibility quickly turned into an overwhelming amount of research. Between comparing countries, understanding visa requirements, evaluating schools and healthcare, estimating living expenses, and figuring out where to even begin, I found myself jumping between dozens of websites, spreadsheets, and conflicting sources of information.

I kept thinking: There has to be a better way to do this.

That's what inspired me to build NextLatitude.

I wanted to create the kind of resource I wished I'd had when I started—a single place where Americans could explore their options, compare destinations, understand what a move might realistically involve, and turn an exciting idea into an actionable plan.

NextLatitude is built for people like me: individuals and families who are curious about life abroad but need a clearer path from "What if?" to "How do we actually make this happen?"

My goal is simple: to take some of the complexity out of international relocation so more people can confidently explore the possibility of building a life somewhere new.
